Jayson Brod: unfortunately sometimes we have problems that suck. I think you might want to check scrap yards for a good used transmission it may be a cheaper way to go. Scrap yards sometimes will even put the transmission in for a better price than a garage if they are selling it to you. good luck
Rosalba Lingner: shop around for rebuild,, i just paid 1300 for a 1999 S10 4x4.. she has to pay the loan a! nd the tranny... next time put a down payment or take shorter loan 3 or 4 years....welcome to the real world. good luk
Madlyn Fallis: She has to drive something that's going to cost her more than 2k. She's going to have to pay off the 9k on the car. Fix it seems to be the only option in a bad situation other than selling it and taking a beating on the loan and STILL having to buy something.
Rolanda Merritt: ok there are a few options but u have to think it over, my boyfriend gave back his car somehow i forget how he did it, but it was weird ill have to talk to him about how he did it!!!but she could stop making the payments and get it repoed and then have bad credit and be in debt, she could get the car fixed, or she could use the 2,000 and go buy a car for that much (u can find good cars for that price just fo look around), but still make the payments on the other one!!!!seriously when it comes to buying cars u have to fight to get something good. especiallly w! hen it comes to payments! when looking for cars look up the bo! ok value.. go to kbb.com. my mom went to get a new car and the dealership was trying to get her in 03's and 04's and my mom had to fight tooth and nail to get what she wanted. he walked out with an 07 cobalt, what gets me is that her payments are only 50 dollars more than what they were initially tryin to give her. dealerships try and give u what they think is best for u, but only u know what is good for u!!!also dealerships will give in alot of times if they wanna make a sale...Show more
