Derick Kinnard: IE 8 is a horrible browser. You should either use Firefox, Google Chrome, or Opera. All are much better and much faster than IE 8.

Hilde Heskett: Not much. All IE versions are weak. Firefox is a much more secure Browser and Google Chrome is very fast. IE should only be used for sites that require Active X.
Mee Blumenfeld: When it first came out I downloaded it and tried it out for a day but after a day of constant popup messages from Norton Internet Security about a ! conflict with Phishing I uninstalled it.When doing my Windows Updates about 2 months later I tried ignoring the Internet Explorer 8 update but was forced to re-install it. Much to my surprise I am using it on all 3 of the computers in my home with no complaints. The only difference I see today is it is Internet Explorer version 8....Show more
Malcom Fenoff: Internet Explorer version 8 is what you mean, and it is not better. Mine glitches on average of once every 30 seconds. I reverted back to IE7.
