Do you think this was enough reason to cancel an account?

Gaynell Pizzaro: Two wrongs don't make a right. Just because other people are violating the rules doesn't mean that you should do it. Your account is gone FOREVER. If you don't win the appeal, then you have no hope of getting it back.

Octavio Roylance: You question highlights a variety of problems with the site.The first is that there is no real sex category, so your intimacy questions end up in Men's Health or Women's Health or Yahoo Answers, where little Jennifer or Joe bumps into it, asks Mommy about it (who flips out and send the violation report).The second is how you framed the question, as it comes off less as asking for help and more troll-like, ! as it is mean to inflame anger. There is a way that you can ask this question and reduce your chances of removal.The third is the almost capricious nature in which account are suspended. Now, I personally do not know if you asked a variety of questions like this or how many abuse reports you garnered, but when the staff saw the report, they decided that you had crossed the line of decency and "punished" you for your disregarded of the guidelinesThe last point is that unless you can convince the staff that the suspension was "in error", that account is dead to you forever. Now, that is NOT the definition of suspension, but around here "suspension" really means "non-deletion banishment".As always, proper wording is the key to survival around here...Show more
