Skin Cancer From SunBurns?

Faviola Dewire: Where the **** do you think skin cancer comes from?

Kenneth Blacker: IDK BTW thanks for the 2 points

Donte Schoenhals: Not when it peals but if you get EXTREAM sun burn yes you can get skin cancers but pealing of the skin is not a 100% sing of of cancer

Elbert Donatelli: are u a fing ignorant ignoramus, the sun is the #1 cause of skin cancer u moron

Leisa Brodnex: sunburns r mainly due to the action of uv rays( 290 and 320 nm - sunburn spectrum "uv - B") present in sun rays..these r known to cause skin cancers..especially in ppl with fair skin(who have less melanin a protective pigment present in skin) n those who r exposed to sun more often.. cheers!!! for all those who ve dark skin..

Galen Gowers: All sun exposure increases ones risk of skin cancer slightly. Burning so badly that your skin peels increases your risk in that particular area by 20% (roughly). It seems counter intuitive since your skin dies and falls off, but ! actually skin cells below the ones that fall off are damaged too, and every subsequent skin cell is cloned from them, meaning that the damage is done, and permenant. Cells that are repeatedly damaged (the UV light changes the DNA sequence) are more likely to become cancerous.Fortunately for you, although skin cancer is one of the fastest spreading, it is also one of the easiest to identify and relatively easy to remove if caught early....Show more

Jeannine Vassie: Possibly because sun is not good for your skin at all.

Dawn Saha: Well it's not the peeling of the skin that gives you skin cancer or melanoma, it's actually the suns rays mutating your skin cells "codes".You don't have to burn to get get skin cancer either, which is a common misconception.Answer my question?http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AgJBD......Show more
